J2EE Software Developers (Positions: 3)

Responsibilities

While working in an agile environment you would be contributing within a team, taking accountability for:

• Participating in design/architectural discussions
• Investigating, learning and applying new technologies/processes to your project
• Participating in estimating, tasking, status and stand-up meetings
• Signing up for and completing development tasks
• Actively pairing during task implementation
• Developing creative, innovative and practical solutions
• Producing clear and maintainable code
• Interacting with the client representative to clarify requirements
• Working with the rest of your project team to deliver an application on-time and on-budget

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in: Engineering or Computer Science

Skills

• Experience using object-oriented programming languages and concepts (3+ years)
• Proficient in Java (J2EE) (3+ yrs), EJB, UML, TCP/IP, Servlets , JSP, Struts
• Strong understanding of database concepts and design. i.e. Oracle, My SQL, XML
• Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL) with Oracle and MS SQL
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to implement and support 3rd party solutions
• Research skills
• Strong communication skills
• Intense problem solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team
