Application Developer/Software Engineer (Positions: 3)

Responsibilities

The Application Developer/Software Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality work products throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), which includes:

• Ensuring all assigned deliverables are completed with the highest quality and are on schedule, on budget and are in compliance with corporate standards
• Working closely with the Product Management team and Solution Architect, to analyze, produce technical documentation and provide technical input to business requirements
• Producing high quality Code and Testing (Unit/Functional/Integration) based on architectural and functional solution designs
• Producing accurate and complete documentation throughout the SDLC
• Keeping management and / or team leader up to date on your progress
• Being a self-started who can work independently as well as a member of a small team
• Other duties as assigned, such as the documentation and implementation of IT processes

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering or equivalent senior level programming experience.

Skills

• Proven ability to create solution designs in compliance with corporate architectural standards
• Proven experience in producing high quality code, including unit, functional and integration testing
• Proven experience with object-oriented solutions using .NET with C#, and C with Microsoft Foundation Classes and COM
• Sound understanding of Microsoft SQL 2000 and/or 2005
• Knowledge and understanding of distributed computing environments, large data sets, data modeling concepts, XML and XSLT
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-starter with proven ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
• Proven team player, with the ability to collaborate and share
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for both business and technical audiences
